PROBLEM

Asian Americans in the creative industry aren't easy to come by, often because of the expectations within the culture. As the community of creatives begins to grow, the minimal media coverage on these individuals make it difficult for aspiring Asian American creatives to find representation.

SOLUTION

An annual publication showcasing Asian American creatives in Entertainment, Fashion, Arts, Tech and Literature. The design is driven by traditional colors from Southeast Asia brought together with hand-done spray-paint typography that reflects the rebellious nature of the creative industry.

THE CREATIVE REVOLUTION

We Are Here's visual identity is built on the stigma that pursuing a creative career is considered a rebellion of what is expected. The contrasting graphical elements and layouts reflect how Asian Americans have entered the creative revolution while still keeping their cultural roots and differences.
